Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role may require handling sensitive information, with access limited to what is necessary for duties, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
