Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides compassionate patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment in management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient Care Plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive health information, requiring adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
