Job Description

The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests.

  • Assesses patient needs, evaluates responses to care, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.

  • Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.

    • The role emphasizes kindness, active listening, and recognizes the value of each team member’s contribution, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
