Job Description
This clinical Nurse role in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care according to policies and regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in decision-making.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow patient care plans.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
