Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
