Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care following policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management and provides emergency and routine care.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role requires handling sensitive information per HIPAA and privacy standards, ensuring data is accessed only as necessary for duties.
