Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) works weekend night shifts, providing compassionate patient care and supporting families and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, adhering to privacy regulations, and ensuring proper access based on job needs.
