Job Description
A clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, documenting all actions per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications.
Collaborates with the team to develop individualized care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy and security policies.
