Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout the hospital stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to create and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and previous nursing or PCA experience preferred.
The 29-bed cardiac unit admits patients with various cardiac and medical diagnoses needing telemetry monitoring.
This position requires adherence to confidentiality, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
The role offers a night shift with a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61.
