Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, coordinating, and managing care for cardiac patients in a 29-bed unit, including telemetry monitoring post-procedures.
Provides primary and emergency care, implements physician orders, administers medications, and performs treatments and tests.
Evaluates diagnostic results, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow plans of care, while guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Prior PCA or nursing assistant experience is preferred.
Focuses on delivering compassionate, competent care across inpatient and community settings.
This role emphasizes compliance with privacy and safety regulations.
