Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, planning, and managing care for cardiac patients on a 29-bed unit, including telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to create patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
Requires strong clinical judgment, ongoing education, and adherence to privacy and safety regulations.
Work shift is day hours, with salary range $76,396.32 – $126,730.61.
