Job Description
This RN position in Hematology/Oncology involves assessing, planning, implementing, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include executing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a comprehensive Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff, ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS certification, and preferred experience as PCA or nursing assistant.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality principles, problem-solving, and ongoing education to enhance performance.
Role requires adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding sensitive health information.
