Job Description
This RN position in Hematology/Oncology involves assessing, planning, directing, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures compassionate, competent patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS certification, and preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
