Job Description
The Critical Care Float Pool Nurse assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures quality nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications: RN license, 1-3 years clinical experience, including 1 year in Telemetry or ICU, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Requires knowledge of quality improvement, strong nursing judgment, and continuing education to enhance performance.
This role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adherence to regulations.
