Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
