Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care in compliance with regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create a Plan of Care and guides ancillary personnel.
Must hold a current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality concepts.
The role requires ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and adherence to privacy standards.
