Job Description
This RN position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for post-surgical patients in a 22-room setting.
Assist with procedures like chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, NG, catheterization.
Assess, plan, and coordinate patient care, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and interpret diagnostic tests.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans.
Maintain professional standards, guide staff, and ensure compassionate patient care.
Minimum requirements include a nursing degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC. The role emphasizes confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
