Job Description
This RN position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for post-surgical patients in a 22-bed setting, performing procedures like chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, and catheter management.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating care plans.
The role requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Essential duties focus on delivering compassionate, competent care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patient progress toward discharge.
The position offers a daytime shift with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26, and pay between $34.65 – $35.69 per hour.
