Job Description
This RN position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves night shifts with a salary range of $72,072–$74,229.
Provides care for patients post-colorectal and urologic surgeries in a 22-bed unit.
Performs procedures such as chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, NG, and catheter management.
Assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and conducts treatments and tests.
Evaluates diagnostic results and responds to patient needs with sound nursing judgment.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and supervises ancillary staff.
Qualifications include RN licensure, current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, and a relevant nursing degree.
The role emphasizes compassionate, competent care and adherence to privacy regulations.
