Job Description
The CCU is a 17-bed cardiac critical care unit caring for adult patients with life-threatening cardiac issues, including those with devices like Impella and therapies like Renal Replacement.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assess patient needs, apply sound nursing judgment, collaborate on care plans, and guide staff to maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of quality improvement are required.
This role involves handling sensitive information per HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
