This role is in the Coronary Care Unit (D2E), a 17-bed critical care unit for adult patients with life-threatening cardiac issues. It involves day shifts with a salary range of $72,072 to $74,229.26. Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and monitoring patients with devices like Impella, IABP, and pulmonary artery catheters. Nurses assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, apply sound judgment, and collaborate on care plans. Requirements include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The position emphasizes maintaining patient safety, quality care, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
