Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Short Stay Surgical department provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care according to regulations.
They assess and interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate patient needs, and apply sound nursing judgment in care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
