Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge and care transitions.
Provides patient-centered care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostics.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and implement care plans, directing ancillary staff as needed.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Experience in nursing assistance preferred.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and patient safety is essential.
The role involves caring for patients with complex vascular issues, including amputations and wounds, with training provided in wound care and related procedures.
The position is night shift with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
