The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery unit provides comprehensive patient care, focusing on discharge planning and care transitions.
Responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Assesses patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Delivers primary and emergency care for diverse conditions, including amputations and vascular wounds.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow plans of care, guiding ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance roles, with ongoing education to improve performance.
The role involves working night shifts with a salary range of $72,072 – $74,229.
