Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery (Night Shift) assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides direct patient care, implements physician orders, administers medications, and performs treatments and tests.
Evaluates diagnostic results, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance roles; continuing education is encouraged.
Must follow confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive patient information.
Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.26, with an hourly rate of $34.65 to $35.69.
