Job Description

The Night Vascular Surgery RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.

  • Responsible for coordinating team-delivered care, ensuring compassionate, competent treatment in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents procedures per regulations.

  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, evaluates patient responses, and applies sound nursing judgment.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering OTC and prescribed medications.

  • Collaborates with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff.

  • Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, 1-3 years of Med-Surg or progressive care experience, and strong organizational skills.
