Job Description
The Night Vascular Surgery RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsible for coordinating team-delivered care, ensuring compassionate, competent treatment in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents procedures per regulations.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, evaluates patient responses, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering OTC and prescribed medications.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff.
Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, 1-3 years of Med-Surg or progressive care experience, and strong organizational skills.
