Job Description
This RN position in Vascular Surgery involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout hospitalization, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care.
Evaluates patient conditions through diagnostic tests, provides primary and emergency care, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and ensures professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves caring for vascular patients with complex needs, often with co-morbidities, in a hospital setting.
