Job Description
This RN position in Vascular Surgery involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, with a focus on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff to maintain standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of recent Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The unit manages patients with vascular diseases and co-morbidities, often post-surgical or with chronic conditions, aged 18-90+.
The role adheres to strict confidentiality and information security policies.
