Job Description
The RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care during their hospital stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within care.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, evaluating diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow Plans of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures quality nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must possess strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves caring for vascular patients with complex conditions, often with co-morbidities, in a specialized unit.
The position may require handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
