Job Description
This RN position in Vascular Surgery involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within acute care.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans, directing ancillary staff and ensuring professional standards.
Qualifications include RN licensure, 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The unit primarily cares for patients with vascular diseases, often with multiple co-morbidities, aged 18-90+.
This role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy regulations.
