Job Description
The Colorectal Surgery and Urology unit is a 22-bed med-surg unit caring for surgical abdominal, urologic, and general medical patients. New graduates are welcome.
Registered Nurse assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout the stay, ensuring quality and compassionate treatment.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center, is preferred.
This role involves access to sensitive health information, requiring adherence to privacy policies.
