Job Description
This RN position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for postoperative patients in a night shift setting, with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 ($34.65 – $35.69/hr).
Provides patient assessment, care planning, and management to support recovery and discharge.
Performs procedures such as chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, NG, and catheter management.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and conducts tests.
Evaluates diagnostic results, responds to patient needs, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Requires graduation from a registered nursing program, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Focuses on delivering compassionate, competent care while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
