Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit provides compassionate patient care, working closely with a team to support post-surgical patients with procedures like wound care, ostomy management, and line insertions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, assessing patient needs, and collaborating on care plans.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Work involves three 12-hour day shifts (7 am to 7:30 pm), totaling 36 hours weekly. The role emphasizes quality care, active listening, and contributing to a caring environment.
All staff must adhere to privacy regulations and protect sensitive information.
