Job Description
This registered nurse position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves providing compassionate patient care in a post-surgical setting with 22 semi-private rooms.
Responsibilities include assessing patients, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and coordinating care to support discharge goals.
Assist with procedures such as central lines, wound care, NG tubes, and chest tube insertion, working closely with wound and ostomy nurses.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a trauma or stroke center.
Work schedule is three 12-hour day shifts (7 am to 7:30 pm), totaling 36 hours per week.
