Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit provides compassionate patient care, working closely with the team to support post-surgical patients with procedures like wound care, ostomy management, and line placements.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Assess, plan, and coordinate care to ensure timely recovery and discharge, while collaborating with team members and guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and 1-3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency setting, with certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Shift: three 12-hour day shifts (7 am-7:30 pm), totaling 36 hours/week. The role emphasizes quality care, active listening, and a respectful environment for patients and colleagues.
