Clinical Nurse II: C2 (Colorectal Surgery & Urology), 32 hrs/week, Days

Job Description

This role is in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit, a 22-bed med-surg unit caring for surgical abdominal, urologic, and general medical patients. New graduates are welcome.

As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, coordinate, and manage patient care, focusing on discharge progress and transitions. You will implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, interpret diagnostic tests, and evaluate patient needs.

Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, and certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC. Continuing education to improve performance is encouraged.

This role involves ensuring compassionate, competent care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, with adherence to privacy and regulatory standards.
