Job Description

This nursing role in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for surgical and medical patients in a 22-bed med-surg unit. New graduates are welcome. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and managing patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating on care plans. The nurse directs ancillary staff and ensures compassionate, competent care across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC. The role requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies regarding sensitive patient information. The position offers a day shift with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
