Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and managing care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications: graduate of a nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role requires adherence to privacy regulations and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
