Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care per regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and follow patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Requires excellent communication, organization, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
