Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests; assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management and provides primary/emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must have strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality and adherence to privacy laws.
