Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for decision-making.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Preferred 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Must follow confidentiality policies and ensure proper handling of sensitive information according to regulations.
