Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions through diagnostic tests and assessments.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Provides emergency and primary care for injuries and illnesses, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
