Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role involves handling sensitive information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and safeguarding patient data.
