Job Description
The Emergency Department RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care, focusing on discharge progress and care transitions.
Provides primary and emergency care for all ages in a Level I Trauma Center with specialized zones and equipment.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies nursing judgment in decision-making.
Collaborates with the team to develop and guide Care Plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
This role requires handling sensitive information per HIPAA and privacy policies, ensuring minimal access and protection of patient data.
