Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive patient care, assessing needs, implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing treatments and tests.
Coordinates and evaluates patient progress, ensuring smooth transitions and discharge planning.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow individualized Plans of Care.
Provides primary and emergency care for a diverse patient population across multiple zones, including trauma, pediatrics, and rapid care.
Maintains standards of professional nursing, guides ancillary staff, and manages patient documentation.
Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, and protects sensitive information.
This role involves working night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center with 45 rooms, specialized zones, and advanced diagnostic facilities.
