Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive patient care, coordinating treatments, administering medications, performing procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assess and respond to patient needs, ensuring safe care management and progress toward discharge.
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans, guide ancillary staff, and uphold professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
Must demonstrate sound judgment, commitment to continuing education, and knowledge of quality improvement concepts.
Role may involve handling sensitive information and adhering to privacy regulations.
