Job Description
The clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate care, actively listening and creating a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and managing care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality and information security policies, ensuring sensitive data is protected and accessed only as necessary.
