Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, make sound nursing decisions, and deliver primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the team, they create care plans and guide ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are required.
