Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate care, supporting patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality policies, ensuring sensitive information is protected and accessed only as needed.
