The clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents appropriately.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role requires adherence to privacy regulations, ensuring sensitive information is protected and accessed only as necessary.
